Once a shadow introvert, With no friends, so shy, inert Can’t deny that had the urge To break free, but none would merge. Hopping for the love’s tender grace, Longing for warmth’s soft embrace. Craving to feel truly wanted, Yet in their eyes, always unwanted. Had wings so strong ready to fly so high Was happy to smile with buds while I fly They took off together leaving me behind Thinking I have holes in my wings from their unkind. Luckily felt that not belong Buddhas wisdom kept so strong All was wanted a hand and a chance But none was given though an evil glance. A pain but determination to show them wrong Started to fly with the wings that once missed for holes. Followed the path where stars aligned Brightened own life, leaving past behind.
