I opened my eyes from a good night's dream In a sea of tranquility, swimming free It was finally time for me to see her face The embodiment of God's grace I lay awake gauging the road to take To the strange new world where new faces await The quiet mechanics of a well-crafted trek Through blood and water, life and death She pushed me through the endless walls Her heart, its heavy rise and fall I felt my body creep and crawl Away from the comfort of the secret womb Out I came to the hands unknown A voice so familiar that I felt drawn Tears came gushing out once more As I stared into her angelic eyes in awe.
