Sea, the gigantic body of water, spread over miles and miles among the large and small continents has surprisingly amazing shades of blue. It’s an elegant scenery to see the sky-blue meeting the sea blue on its hypothetical edge, which could mesmerize you for a while. Once it’s undisturbed and peaceful we could listen to a heartfelt song of waves and once it’s aggressive we could hear a lamentation of the uncontrolled waves.
Have we ever thought about what kind of stories the sea has hidden inside? I wish I could dive into the depths of the sea and find the mysterious secrets that have drowned over centuries. If it isn’t hypothetical for a moment, it would be the most incredible experience I can ever have. Not every story that I’m going to find inside the sea would be so beautiful from the beginning. I think at the end of each day and every day the sea whispers all the tales of the day to the setting sun when they meet each other at the horizon.
The sea has witnessed so many different situations throughout the years of history. If we could catch a glimpse of “what would the voice of the waves tell us”, it will begin where life formed on the earth. It will tell us how wonderful the whole world was; how fresh the breeze was; how the green forests have covered tons of acres on earth’s surface; how happily the birds flew crossing miles under the blue sky to the rhythm of their own song; simply how happy and peaceful were the lives of each and every living creature in the world.
On the other hand, the sea has witnessed an enormous amount of human emotions and thoughts. If it gets a chance, it will tell us the happy, sad, lonely, angry, scared, painful, and joyful emotions that all the stages of a person’s life he has shared with the sea breeze. The sea will tell us the stories about the royal people who raised their kingdoms to better heights and the ones who ruined as well; the sad stories of slaves at the back of the ships wondering where their masters would take them; how the poets sat silently by the sea and turn their beautiful thoughts into magical words; how the captains sailed their ships across the deep seas in thirst of finding new countries; how the lovers whispered their secrets to each other which only the sea knew apart from them; how the small kids played in the sand while their parents watched them with the heartfelt pleasure. The sea has listened to all the sad stories of a person and wiped the tears with a warm hug given by the waves.

The worst story the sea might have to tell us is how the world has turned upside down today, and how humans have ruined the peace it had centuries ago. I think the sea might be crying out loud as humans destroy the beautiful earth piece by piece. It is so pathetic to see such bad things humans doing to the loving earth. I guess a real conversation with the sea will reveal to us how things should change to recreate the beautiful earth we had before. The sea might have tons of untold stories. So, let’s listen to each of them in silence when the only sound we can hear is the cool water draining upon our souls below the shower. They would open our eyes and lead us to the great dimensions of life.
