Those two little buds, White roses were they. White for peace, Though peace was not in their veins. As they dance in the wind, The big happy bush watched them sing. As that same wind hurls, The two buds twist their hands. What the world saw was them fighting. But no! Happy little sisters were they, Protecting each other in stretched arms. The warmest hugs as they cling. Little by little, Those petals of delicacy opened up. With twinkling morning dew on them, Together, they gave the world fragrance, Their sweet sisterly fragrance. Well, the time flew fast for them too. And on this day, The morning sun winked at the flowerbed, Treacherous was the grin on his face. Alas! At the blink of an eye, The bigger, yet the gentler rose, Was not there anymore in her buddy-buddy twig. Where has she gone? Maybe in search of a brighter sun, To bloom anew. Did she never know? The sun was the same, Wherever we bloom. And what about the little one? Still there in the greenest twig? Can the breeze please hurry Go and whisper in her ear, "Do not ever go. The sun is brightest here! "
