The world I see is extremely matte,
limited to darkness, and only that.
Quite painful it was, I cried, I prayed,
I waited for a miracle, to be saved.
As I grew up, I gained my sight.
Not to see mere colors, but deep inside.
Fighting for selfishness, ego, discourtesy,
I see much more than them through my opacity.
Black, white, yellow, brown,
even red, and blue all feels the same.
The colors never hurt, they just beautify.
But words do hurt, and we all know why.
If the world goes truly blind just for one day,
every color is priceless, they will say.
Skin color can never define the level of humanity.
Pure hearted and open-minded, will only glow eternally.
