We all breathe in a world where saving oxygen is the biggest struggle we face.
SANHITHA came towards you twice before as ‘Aya Wenuwen’ and ‘Tharuna Hada abarata’. This time RACFOSUOC brought the final phase of SANHITHA as ’Mihimawata Adaren’ by giving attention to a timely topic.
Humans believe that they are the only one group of mother nature while she’s having another thousand parties. Humans act in a way they have constructed the world, they have created nature and the authority needs to control the world is also in their hands. Those attitudes will do the explosion of humans one day. The prevailing pandemic situation has also shown us even now we are late. Nevertheless, before it’s too late RACFOSUOC accentuated the widespread harmful habits of humans which will be caused to pull down our future in danger.
“Throughout the world, 2.47 million trees cut down every day”
The existence of humans will not be based on money or wealth but on trees. Nothing will be precious than to be surrounded by a greeny place. Because the calmness and pleasure will be created by greens spontaneously in your lifestyles. Without trees, humans’ existence will be only a dream. So we included not only one article but also two articles to emphasize the values of saving trees before we will fall into a similar situation in China.
“Canadian company selling bottled air to China”
As I said in the beginning humans are just only one part of this world. Animals also deserve to live as humans beings. This is what humans haven’t realized yet.
“More than 200 million animals are killed for food around the world every day”
The world is not only created for humans, animals are also kids of mother nature. If you snatch the right of animals to live, nature will seize yours soon. Our project consists of an article that talked about this to reduce the number of animals who missed their lives each day because of humans.
Most Sri Lankans have used to put their garbages into forests. There are thousands of photographs that showcase the way elephants eat those garbage as a habit. This will be a cause to have a massive number of deaths of elephants. We took this project as a platform to emphasize the significance of protecting wild animals like elephants.
We reserved the space for our next to articles of the project to highlight the values of our ocean. Born in a country surrounded by the ocean, will not be as important as it deserves to be until starting to live in a country where reaching a beach is also a nightmare. We encouraged the audience to conserve this tremendous blessing given by mother nature.
Children born today may be the last generation to see coral reefs.
We aroused the values of coral reefs where 25% of marine animals live. As a nation that is gifted by exquisite coral reefs, we should know the values of those glamorous products of nature. As the statistics show 60% of coral reefs will disappear in the next 30 years.
We included the importance of using reusable day-to-day accessories by recalling disastrous memories which are already forgotten by Sri Lankans, the “Meethotamulla” garbage dump disaster. The lessons that were taught by the past will be the basement of the future. Forgetting those lessons can be taken as the most harmful habit of someone.
32 lives were lost and 11 went missing
Since we all just have to practice some simple habits to prevent such a disaster in future, RACFOSUOC decided making awareness among youngsters on how they have to behave to stop these kinds of misfortunes in future will be beneficial.
RACFOSUOC successfully brought the conclusion of the final phase of SANHITHA after publishing seven articles that were nicely written by the most talented editors team members.
