The youth is the driving force of society. Youth’s creativity, stamina, innovative thinking capacity, and tolerance will be significant to the moving direction of society. When a fearless, vigorous, and honest young man or woman lives in a house, you must feel how comfortable that place is. That consolation implies how important a bunch of outstanding youngsters to society.
I used the word outstanding to imply a deep and wide meaning. Everyone can gain attraction from their appearance but only a few can be attractive by showcasing the qualities in their souls. The one who always thinks about the betterment of society by having perfect qualities can be taken as an outstanding or real attractive person. As a club which is mostly consisted of the twenties, we thought to commit our talents to polish up the qualities of the youth because it is one of the best ways to have a better environment around us.
We brought up diverse topics by including prevailing problems faced by youth and country at the same time as a result of the decreasing number of people who know the value of youth. As the first step, we published an informative article about HIV since the number of youngsters living with HIV is on the rise according to the latest statistics. The ways of infecting HIV, preventing methods, the societies and companies which owe to help HIV infected persons and the things should follow by an infected one have included in the first article. An awareness has built up on HIV to a satisfactory level with the latest statistics.
The affairs that have started from the schooldays will not always have a happy ending. There is s only a 0.17% chance to end school love stories by marriage. Then, most of the affairs are fallen into the unsuccess category and all of them must be strong enough to endure the disappointment. Love is not as permanent as ripples arise in water. The unfortunate is some young hearts consider them as too serious problems and there are a few situations where some people chose suiciding as their final option. Lifting weights at the gym is not the way of building our personalities. An empty canvas needs diverse colors to produce a vibrant painting. Love may add either bright or dull colors to our sketch of life. We have to learn and practice how to bear up all the toughest situations in our lives as making an exquisite composition by permitting all the colors we receive. Since we reserved a place for talking about this disaster.
In Sri Lanka, about seven to eight people die each day, resulting in approximately 3 000 deaths perdue to road traffic accidents. The most susceptible group prone to road accidents is motorcyclists and three-wheeler drivers who are aged between 15-45 years. Young riders’ uncontrollable speed, their carelessness and endless addiction of youth towards motorbikes are caused most of these accidents. Most recently, a pregnant mother, an eleven-month-old infant, and a seven-year-old blooming flower might have not thought that a twenty-year-old careless bike rider would separate them from the breath of their comfort. We made a position in our project to break the consistent existence of these tragic incidents.
Spending a day worthily is the toughest issue faced by youth. While commemorating the developments of technology, we have forgotten to recognize the pale side of it. We have shown to the youth that they are laying their lustrous life period into a vulnerable situation by addicting to games and social media. We must be capable to figure out what is good and bad and at the same time what is good even in the worse things.
In the Sri Lankan education system, all students are filtered by two main examinations. Most of the students who are especially unable to pass the ordinary levels typically choose to work in a garment or hire a three-wheel. They won’t expand their thoughts over the boundary and they are fear to cross the border by facing challenges and taking risks. We have talked about this issue and remembered them if they are ready to browse, there will be more opportunities in society. If all of us are good at a specific talent, the world’s diversity will fade away soon. We all have to figure out which type of song does fit for us to showcase our range on the stage of life. You make sure that you are the one who is handling the steering wheel of your life.
The path of our gifted life depends on the decisions we make. Being addicted to drugs is as same as getting into a wrong train. The more you go, the more you detach from your loved ones. The total number of persons of drug-related arrests was 89 321 in 2019. The Dangerous Drugs Control Board has said over 250 000 youth of Sri Lanka are addicted to drugs. Since this is a major problem, we thought making awareness among about the disadvantages of using drugs is a must.
Believing no one knows other than them is one of the heftiest pessimistic forces of youth. All these problems can be easily solved and all the hardest times can be easily passed if we listen to our parents’ advice which decorates our lives as jewels do. How valuable their advice is and how to start a meaningful life without prospective regrets are specified in the project by allocating another article.
Since everything is virtual, most of the young lives spend their time with the mobile phone. We believe using our blog is the best way to communicate with their hearts. We have done an enormous worthy project through seven important topics with the strength of talented rotaractors. Their heartfelt poems which are tiny and directly expressing the message augmented the project by adding vibrant colors.
