It was a nice spring day in the beautiful city of Berlin in Germany. A middle-aged couple was traveling across the country when they encountered this dainty pastry shop– Bella Italia. Throughout their stay in Berlin, they indulged themselves in the heavenly flavors of a freshly made, Tiramisu oozing with mascarpone cheese, topped with a delicate layer of freshly ground cocoa. This little pastry shop became their home away from home.
The last day of their journey came around and the couple was supposed to catch a plane back to London, which at the time where they were living. But in order to get to the airport, they had to catch a train leaving Berlin at 2.05 p.m. The couple packed their luggage and left the hotel to get to the train station well ahead of time, as the trains in Germany were always right on schedule, and if they missed it, they would not make it to the airport on time to catch the plane back home. But oh no. They wanted to go back to Bella Italia to taste one last piece of that mouthwatering Tiramisu for one last time. Well, they do say the hardest goodbyes are for the things that are the most beautiful!

So, they arrived back at the pastry shop to say their final goodbyes to the Tiramisu. The clock was ticking but still, they had ample time to catch the train. However, to their dismay, on this particular day, the service at the shop was rather snail-like. Both were anxious as they were running out of time, but still, they waited patiently with gleaming eyes and drooling over, to take a bite of that ‘heaven on a plate’. Finally, their orders of Tiramisu hit the table. As you could imagine, they lost track of time against the aromas and the flavors they were oh so desperately yearning for.
Eventually, when they came back to their senses, they realized that they had almost run out of time and it was just a few minutes before 2.05 pm, so, what’s left to do was…RUN!
The two of them ran across Berlin with heavy backpacks on their backs and heavy luggage on their hands packed with all the clothes from their entire tour in Europe. Need I mention again that it was in Spring, so it was freezing outside. They ran across streets passing all the red lights, stopping at NOTHING, all the while the cold breeze was brushing against their fear-struck bodies. Everyone around was staring at them in shock and confusion.
It was too exhausting, and the heavy luggage was weighing them down, especially the slim-bodied lady. So, the man did not think twice but grabbed her luggage as well and both kept running as fast as their feet could take them. At last, they arrived at the train station exactly at 2.05 p.m. A train with open doors caught their eyes from afar. They dashed across the station and jumped into the train just as the doors closed behind them!
Oh, but hold on a second…was it the right train?
