Among the countries I have visited in my life, some countries grabbed my attention the most. You will be amazed to hear if a country full of deserts grabbed my attention. This is my visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the last abroad journey I had before the pandemic.

Saudi Arabia is a country situated in the Arabian Peninsula or the Middle East with harsh deserts with dusty sands covering a land area of approximately 2,150,000 km2. The specialty of this country among the countries in the Arabian Peninsula is, it is the only country with a red sea coat and Persian Gulf seacoast. The most eye-catching landmarks were the sand dunes. The difference between the urban and rural areas was the deserts. Deserts have made a play area for children and the sand dunes have made small mountain-like structures where tourists, as well as locals, use fly with parachutes. It was an amazing experience for me jumping from a sand mountain with a parachute. I later realized the main reason for flying of parachute even at a small height was the strong winds blown in the desert.
If you once visit Saudi Arabia the place that you should never forget to visit is the headquarters business park – the skyscraper center in Jeddah to get to know its unique architecture. Also, you will be able to find the “kingdom tower” which is the world’s tallest building here in Jeddah. The next place is the city of Thaaif, where you can find plenty of fresh fruits some you never have seen or eaten before. The best thing about Saudi Arabian vendors is that they won’t just sell the fruits to you but they will allow you to taste them also before purchasing. The same thing applies when you buy sweets. You can try a great range of sweets before you purchase them.

The next place you should never forget is the clock tower hotel in the sacred city of Mecca which gives you an amazing and thrilling experience. A single visit to its balcony costs 150 SAR which is worth paying.
If you are a person into aircraft and history, you should visit the Royal Saudi Air Force Museum in Riyadh that will fill up you with knowledge and excitement. Spending a few riyals on that will never be in vain if you are really interested in archeological studies. Traveling to Median Salih is an unforgettable experience in my life, full of excitement and knowledge.
But you must be mindful if you are visiting a country like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which has strict rules. You may never be able to bring or consume liquor products here. And be mindful of what you wear especially when visiting outdoors.
