Data Storm 7.0 returns for its seventh consecutive edition with a bold vision to empower the next generation of innovators in the rapidly evolving world of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Organized as an interuniversity competition by the Rotaract Clubs of the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo and University of Moratuwa, this initiative creates a platform where young minds can transform ideas into impactful technological solutions.
Building upon six successful years, Data Storm 7.0 expands beyond traditional competition boundaries by introducing a more accessible, industry oriented experience for undergraduates and technology enthusiasts across Sri Lanka. The event is designed not only to challenge participants technically, but also to prepare them for the future of innovation and digital transformation.
The competition consists of several exciting phases, including introduction webinars, masterclasses conducted by industry experts, a Kaggle based storming round, prototype development, mentoring sessions, and the grand finale. Participants will gain hands on exposure to real world business problems while sharpening their analytical, technical, and presentation skills throughout the journey.
