“The future belongs to those who prepare for it today” – Malcom X
Moving out of academics and stepping into the corporate world is not an easy transition, this is mainly because of lack of knowledge on employer expectations and other necessary soft skills.
The chances of a graduate making this transition smoothly ;or at all, are slim indeed if the said graduate has no idea whatsoever as to how to make a proper CV or how to face an interview.
This is where Future Challenge; a Professional Development program organized by the Rotaract Club of Faculty of Science, University of Colombo comes into the lives of our Science undergraduates. Future Challenge provides the opportunity for graduates to gain the necessary soft skills as well as test them out and hone these skills before finally facing an interview and stepping into their corporate lives.
Future challenge was successfully organized for the 13th consecutive year in 2018 and was conducted in three phases; Workshop, Mock interviews and Career fair, with MAS capital as the platinum sponsor for Future Challenge 2018.

Future challenge gives undergraduates the rare opportunity of making a smooth transition into the corporate world with tips and advice provided by the very people they aspire to be in the future.
On a finishing note, something to always keep in mind is that,
